A couple of weeks ago I realized that my wardrobe was lacking in black basics, so I headed into town, birthday money in hand. What a dangerous thing to do. My favourite purchase has to be this gorgeous lightweight duster coat from New Look which is the perfect transitional coat. I decided to get a couple of sizes up for a slouchy boyfriend fit and I love it! I wore it with my new black jeans from Dorothy Perkins (my first pair of black jeans in years) and my new leather croc print bag from Primark. To say this was only £8, it looks and feels so expensive and it goes with literally every outfit. Birthday money well spent.
