Quite often, I let the clothes do the talking. Whether it's a bell sleeve blouse, a statement fur coat or a pretty patterned dress, it's quite easy to forget to accessorize, and I admit i'm extremely guilty of that. So today I thought I'd restyle some old favourites in my wardrobe and focus on accessorizing those key pieces into an an entirely new outfit.
First of all, I actually styled my outfit around this gorgeous Statement Necklace from Dressin. I find these kind of bold accents really stand out against block colours, which is why I chose to wear it with a plain white crop top and a contrasting blue button up skirt. I've never been a minimal kind of girl, so choosing a bold necklace with intricate patterns, jewels and beads was definitely right up my street... And would you believe, for such an awesome necklace, it only coat around £3.50? Bargain!
Another top accessory for this season has to be the suede over the knee boots. I actually found these on Ebay and snapped them up as soon as I saw the price tag... Yes i'm a little obsessed with getting a bargain. I think over the knee boots spice up any a-line skirt or dress, and i'm super excited to wear them over and over again this season!
And finally, a little faux fur goes a long way. I snapped up this gorgeous black wool coat from Primark recently, and have literally worn it every single day. Being black, it goes with almost everything in my wardrobe, and having a faux fur collar attached means any outfit looks super classy and well put together. Hurray for accessories.
