When people say you can choose to either be warm, or dress on trend when it gets to Autumn or Winter, not both, they're wrong... And you know why? Because they've never worn a blanket scarf. I once thought the exact same if i'm honest. Two pairs of thermal leggings, 2 jumpers and a thick padded jacket doesn't look very flattering at all, but it's the thermal accessories that will keep the heat in. I was browsing my local Primark not too long ago and decided to buy myself a new scarf. The chunky red or green tartan Primark scarves are worn by literally everyone, every year, so I thought i'd mix it up a little and decided to opt for this orange, brown and blue checkered scarf. Plus I already own a 2 tartan scarves (oops!) ...I've been alternating between this blanket scarf and my red tartan version for the past couple of weeks now, and I can't believe how strange yet cosy, and surprisingly socially acceptable it is to walk around my office in this. (Yes i do turn it into a full on blanket when i'm sat at my desk). I find that it goes so well with khaki and brown tones, but I love spicing up a pair of black ripped jeans and a white turtle neck with this patterned blanket scarf.
