This look has to be one of my favourites in a while for the blog. I've realized I have subconsciously made a mental recipe for planning outfits, and when I stick to it I feel the most comfortable and happy, and when I don't, I'm usually not 100% in love with my look (is it just me that does this?) It usually consists of a hat, a top tucked into a high waisted mini and some form of knee high boots.
It's great to know what works for you, and what works for your body shape. For me, high waisted mini skirts draw attention to my waist which is what I aim for, especially when I add a statement belt. And in case you didn't already know, my love for hats has gone way out of control. Now it may just be me, but I'm pretty sure if you wear a big hat it makes your body look smaller in proportion?
Do any of you guys follow your own recipe for the perfect outfit?
