NEW SEASON LAYERING

I've been wanting to experiment with layering for some time now. September is the perfect time to layer your summer basics, lightweight fabrics and new Autumn pieces all together. So today, i'm mixing a plain white tee & a silk cami dress from Dress Lily.

I've seen tons of bloggers layer similar dresses with t-shirts, long sleeve shirts or band tees, so I thought, why not try it out? What I love about this dress, is that you get a matching choker with it! It comes in one long silk piece of fabric, which I originally thought may have been a waist belt, until I double checked online and saw the model wearing it around her neck like a choker. I'm a big fan of chokers, but have never thought of matching my outfits exactly to the colour of my choker, what a neat idea!

On a more personal note, I've been posting a little less frequently over the past week because i've been nursing a bad cold for what seems like a month. I've still been managing to shoot my outfits, but the writing side has become a little less frequent because I don't want to force myself to do something as it will most definitely show, and lessening the quality of my content isn't something I want at all. But i've got quite a few amazing sets of photos to show you, and i've been working with a couple of new brands so I can't wait to share it all with you guys!

I hope you guys love this look as much as I do! Make sure you check out the Dress Lily website for tons of bargains! I'm super happy with mine & can't wait to hear what you guys think of it too!
