If you didn't already know, i'm a sucker for bargains. I work full time, but just like most of us, my money disappears. I don't have the best social life, but i meet up with friends every so often, and go on day trips the odd weekend, as well as eating out quite a lot. So when it comes to fashion, as much as I love it, I just can't bring myself to buy a brand new designer bag, or even anything from Topshop to be honest. I love getting more for my money. Now that doesn't mean I don't buy twice as much, because I do. But with how quickly I get bored of things in my wardrobe, I really can't be spending half of my monthly wage on something I'm going to fall out of love with next month. So if any of you guys are interested, which I hope you are, here's my top three places where you're guaranteed to get a bargain and not spend loads.
Denim Dress | New Look (similar)
Black Belt | Zaful* (here)
Oversized Patterned shirt | Vintage via Ebay (similar)
Black Chain Strap Bag | Primark (similar)
Ankle Boots | Ebay (similar)
My number 1 high street shop has to be... You guessed it... Primark! I used to work at Primark, and it literally made me love it even more. You can find so many bargains there, and once you know where to look, you'll find exactly what you're looking for. Granted, if you don't know your way around, then aimlessly walking around a shop as big as Primark may be a pain, but the shop assistants are there to help! I visit Primark every couple of months to buy new underwear, but they also do great bags, chokers (which are exactly the same as Topshop's i've heard), and their coats are always a favourite of mine.
For online shopping, if you don't mind waiting a while for the delivery (or paying more to get express shipping), I would recommend Shein. I've been working with a lot of similar shops like this for my blog over the past year or so (by the way this post isn't sponsored I actually just really like their shop), and they sell really great items! The quality can vary depending on what you order, and the sizes are different than the UK sizes, but they do offer conversion charts. For jackets, the quality is 10/10, Dresses 9/10, Jewellery 9/10, Shoes 8/10 (and you also need to size up) and Tops a 6/10 as a lot of them can be very thin material. If i'm honest, I wouldn't recommend buying trousers or jeans from there unless you size up around 2 sizes, which I have found is the exact same compared to other brands based in the same country. Overall, their prices are cheaper than Primark 9 times out of 10, but for shoes or jackets they are around the same.
And finally, some of you may be against second hand clothing, but for those of you who don't mind as long as it is in good quality, charity shops and Ebay are the cheapest around. I love shopping at The British Heart Foundation for jumpers, as they sell the exact same designs as the likes of Topshop, Newlook, Missguided etc, and jumpers range from £3-£8!! And if you're looking for something specific, Ebay is amazing! I usually search things like 'Topshop leather skirt size 10' or Missguided leather jacket 10', then search by 'lowest price first' and you'll have tons to choose from at less than half the original price!
If there's anywhere around the north west, or online that you is great for bargain hunting, let me know in the comments!
