I'm a big fan of layering when it comes to this time of year. It's not cold enough to wear super thick jumpers or big fluffy coats, yet it's too cold to leave the house wearing sandals, or even pumps for that matter. So I thought I would take full advantage of getting the most wear out of a few summery items I have, by layering thin knits, jumpsuits or summer dresses, it gives a whole life to something that you once would have written off as a Spring or Summer garment.

Today I'm wearing this gorgeous striped jumpsuit from Shein. It was originally a summer piece as the material is super light, yet still thankfully opaque. The great thing about this one-piece is that It can be worn for both hot and cold months depending on what you wear it with. I decided to style it with a white high neck jumper which was a super cheap charity shop find, as well as some black Ebay ankle boots and a belt. I think sticking to a monochrome palette is a great way to tone down an outfit which in my opinion is quite adventurous for every-day wear. Nevertheless, I wore this outfit to go out for lunch with my sister last week and got quite a few compliments. It's super comfy due to the elastic waistband, and would look great on Autumn/Winter nights out with a pair of strappy heels and a furry clutch bag.
Have you guys been styling any of your more summery items for Autumn?
