Wrapping up warm without swamping your figure in layers and layers of knitwear is something i've always struggled with when it comes to this time of year. I absolutely love wearing skirts as it makes me feel girly and more dressed up than a simple jeans and jumper combo, but would you sacrifice being cold to look good? I've recently been seeing more and more midi skirts on the high street, and thought it was about time I tried one out to get the best of both worlds.

I absolutely love adding new pieces to my wardrobe that I havn't worn before, so I decided to invest in this black midi skirt from Zaful. It's simple, elegant and super versatile. Plus it's surprisingly warm when teamed with a t-shirt, jumper and cami, as well as my barely-there nude tights and these amazing faux fur lined boots from Gamiss. I was so surprised when these burgundy beauties landed on my doorstep, as they're acually faux fur inside the boot too! Plus the hidden platform gives a super comfortable cushioned surface for your feet. What's not to love?
When layering up, I find a thick waist belt can be really slimming around the waist, and can give you a more feminine silouette, so I dug out this black western belt to give some subtle detail and finish off this look.
