3 OF MY FAVOURITE WINTER COVER-UPS

After blogger's block comes a surge of new ideas, inspiration and themed posts... It's only natural for us all to feel like that at some point. For me, Being uninspired by taking photos in the awful weather meant I posted less frequently, and had much less to talk about other than what I am wearing. Plus i've been so so busy at work over Christmas! But after having a long hot bubble bath, a glass of wine and a few hours of 'me time', I feel like i'm bursting with ideas! Today I'm talking about Winter cover-ups, which ones I love and how I wear them!

1. I had heard of coatigans before, but totally missed the whole 'trend' when it was around. Little did I know they're still going strong... And being a fashion blogger I always want to step out of my comfort zone and try something new, even if it's only new to me. So I decided to invest in my first coatigan from Shein. Granted you have to wear atleast two layers underneath, which is nothing new for me anyway... But this is how I styled mine.

Burgundy Button Down Skirt | Shein* (here)
Colour Block Cardigan | Shein* (here)
Beige High Neck Jumper | Primark (similar)
Burgundy Ankle Boots | Gamiss* (similar)

2. On the more formal side of things, blazers are probably one of my most worn over the Winter period. From oversized wool blazer coats, to patterned ones on nights out, or a simple black blazer with jeans for more of a casual vibe... Everyone needs one!

3. From faux fur jackets, to scarves and gilets, there's nothing I buy more in Winter than furry things. Towards the beginning of Autumn I lived in my faux fur cream gilet, pairing it with a khaki jumper and burgundy skirt for smart-casual events. But as soon as the chill got real, I delved into my furry coat collection, which will hopefully stay with me forever! I have a few different patterned ones which I love to wear with casual outfits like jeans and ankle boots.
