Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I've just got
back from a super cute city break with my boyfriend Jordan to celebrate
our 7 year anniversary at the Hilton in Manchester. If any of you guys
follow me on Twitter,
you may have seen some of my photos from staying at the Hilton, as well
as a few yummy food snaps from our Indian meal & visiting a few
cocktail bars around Spinningfields and Deansgate. It was such an amazing trip, and great to
see a few new places that i've never been to, as well as getting room
service for the first time ever, and also visiting a few old favourite bars that I visit every time I head into the city. But now i'm back to reality, and sadly back to work tomorrow.
What did you guys get up to at the weekend?

Anyway guys, after that much need catch up, I'm talking about wardrobe basics! In Winter it's so hard to get out of the routine of wearing a boring old jumper and jeans combo, as well as simple long sleeve tops and leggings with a wool coat. I've decided it's time for me to throw out all of my old long sleeve primark tops and black leggings. When you've got a full to bursting wardrobe and wear the same 10 items on a rotation, you know you've got to change! So Fashion Mia kindly offered to send me a few long sleeve tops for Winter, which I absolutely adore, and are far from the boring faded tops that I've thrown out at the weekend. I'm wearing this gorge grey tee with a leather band on the collar, and lace sleeves. It's a thicker material than expected, so layer if you must, but this is pretty cosy on it's own! I paired it with a pretty grungy outfit sticking to blacks and dark red, and love how the black lace from the top ties the whole look together with the boots and the faux fur gilet. With just a pop of dark red from my H&M leather skirt, it adds more detail to make it a perfect smart/casual outfit for weekend drinks or a meal out with friends on a Saturday night.
Great tips! Love that skirt on you :)
