HOW MY STYLE HAS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS

I remember first being interested in fashion around the age of 14 when I was in year 10 at high school. Non-uniform days were always so stressful for me, and I always had to buy something new to try and fit in, but never really knew what to buy. My outfits always used to feel inadequate however confident I was when I tried it on in the shops, because the cool kids' outfits were always better. Ever since then I have aspired to dress like somebody else, somebody more confident, cool and pretty, always feeling like I was the opposite. Feeling my most confident in my teens, through the day I would wear black formal shorts with tights, a band t-shirt and a black leather jacket layered over a white hoodie. For parties I would pretty much stick to the same, and swap the jacket for a cami and hoop earrings.

Fast forward 9 years and here I am! I absolutely love wearing dresses as often as I can. I remember one of my high school friends saying to me that she wished she could wear dresses in the day time and not feel stupid or too over dressed. And so we both started doing so! Dresses like this beauty from Light In The Box make me feel confident, girly, and even though I do feel dressed up, it makes me feel good! I don't know about you guys, but there's nothing I hate more than going out of my house with sweats on, no makeup and my hair up. That get-up is for Netflix watching only.
