Happy Weekend! It's currently Friday night when I'm writing this post and what a wild one! ...not! I feel like the last month or so has been a growing up stage for me. Maybe i've mentally reached the age where I know i'm not getting any younger and the hangovers aren't worth it any more. I'd much rather have a little more pocket money and stay in snuggling with my cat watching Netflix, then go out on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon to visit a new place, buy new things for the house, exercise or see my family. Surprisingly I'm feeling so much better already for it, I have more free time to work out which makes me feel happier inside and outside. So on a bit of a life update, in case you were wondering where i've been or what i've been up to, that's what's new!

Here's an outfit I shot a week or so ago in my garden. One of those days where you can't decide what to do, so making content self-shooting in the garden seemed like a good way to spend my time. After all, I absolutely love styling outfits and editing photos. Not so much shooting on my own, as the right lighting and angles aren't achieved straight away when using a tripod, but hey, you've got to learn somehow! I stared at my photos for ages trying to think up a title. Some way to describe what the outfit can be worn for, where it would be worn or perhaps what it might say to some people. In reality I really wanted to feature the skirt on my blog, and sort of styled the whole outfit around that colour scheme. I came up with this pretty cute work/smart weekend look. I hope you like it!

  1. I completely agree with you. I didn't go out for about 7 weeks and then have had two nights out in October, and it ruins me completely for a few days. I'd much rather be up and about, meeting friends or going out for the day and getting to the gym early. I do enjoy a night out now and again, but I like to be home early so I can get a decent sleep. If that makes me old and boring then so be it haha! xx
