I enjoyed making the photo diary of my holiday to Barcelona in May so much that I've decided to make another! I absolutely love creating posts like this because when life gets in the way of arranging photographers for shoots and setting up brand collabs, it's a great way to keep my blog active while still making the time to create something I love with the content I already have on my phone!
One of the craziest yet cheapest experiences I've had in a very long time is going to Rockprest, a festival jam packed full of tribute acts in Preston, Lancashire. The tickets were only £3.99 would you believe! Incredible tribute acts of Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, Stereophonics, Queen, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers and SO many more played on a sunny weekend at the end of June and they were all so so great! I drove my friends there on both days and had the best of fun. Even getting a flat tyre didn't ruin my time. There were fun fair rides, tons of different food like fish and chips, Chinese, German beer and sausage stalls, nutella pancakes and waffles and fancy toasties (odd thing to say i agree, but they were fancier than the usual ones you'd see!). I found out about the event on Facebook and decided a few days before that I should go, spontaneous things always turn out to be the most exciting!
Part of my trying to save my pennies for a holiday at the end of year means I've been going to see family more and staying at home doing fun things like baking! I've gone to see my sister's new puppy a few times and she is absolutely gorgeous isn't she! Her name is Molly and she's 9 weeks old. It's making me want a puppy so bad! Jordan said he'd love to get a puppy too when we move house, so fingers crossed for next year! The photo to the right is one of the prettiest things I've baked this month - A Terry's Chocolate Orange cheesecake. I've also made Terry's Chocolate Orange brownies and nutella and peanut butter cupcakes recently too!
About a month ago my mum got this awesome wowcher deal for afternoon tea at this super pretty restaurant/spa in a fancy hotel. I've never been for afternoon tea before and my gosh it was amazing! I would absolutely love to go again. I love buffets so getting to try lots of  miniature nibbles is my kind of day out!
Yep you guessed it, I went to another festival! Restricted Rocks is a similar kind of event to RockPrest but a tad smaller. There's lots of events that go on in a park 5 minutes walk away from my house. Most are usually dance festivals but personally I love watching acts that you can sing along to, so when this one popped up I just had to go. Mainly because there was an Oasis tribute act and Jordan and I adore Liam Gallagher and all of the old Oasis songs.
