Chunky Knits

I've recently been loving screen shotting looks from Instagram that I want to save to inspire me at a later date. So today I thought i'd pick out some of my favourite key styles that I seem to be loving at the minute and how I'd style them. First of all, you can't ever go wrong with a chunky knit. I've got cropped ones, oversized ones, various colours, cardigans, high neck jumpers, you name it! Today's outfit is a super cute embroidered jumper that I got last year from Rose Gal. I really love the slightly oversized fit and the length too. It's super easy to throw on with most colours, but i really love how it looks with my teddy bear coat.

Black Jeans

Black skinny, flare, mom, straight leg or cropped jeans - All are a lifetime staple that you or I could not with out. Perfect for most occasions in every season there is. I'm currently loving these M&S jeans I found in a charity shop a few months ago for under £5. Megan Ellaby's style has really inspired me jeans-wise recently and I'm starting to look through Ebay/Charity shops for the perfect pair of flared jeans. Or I might even cut and distress them myself should I go down the Ebay route. Fashion doesn't have to cost much, it's all in the creativity!

Leather Jacket

Before writing this post I tried to make a mental note to what I would have in my list of fashion pieces that won't go out of style. A leather jacked seemed to be the obvious. I've been loving leather biker jackets for about 13 years and I still love them just as much. My favourite way to wear them for Autumn is with a floaty dress. I think the clash of girly and grungy looks awesome!

Midi Dresses

Ok so I'm currently more than obsessed with @lauraslittlelocket on Instagram. Her style is absolutely incredible and I especially love her Autumnal outfits wearing midi skirts and dresses. Blazer style wool coats, thin knits and ankle boots look super cute with pleated midis, I really need to go shopping and get myself an outfit like that!

Blazers can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Of course when I say blazer we all think of your school blazer, or a man's suit. But it can be so much more! A blazer I recently bought from Everything 5 Pounds looks incredible with a black mini dress for a night out (stay tuned to see that look!) I really love think wool jackets which are structured like blazers too, In The Frow pulls those off the best I think! Minimal tailoring is definitely something to invest in. You'll never need to throw out timeless pieces, keep on wearing them and keep on looking on trend all year round.
